Owner/Stylist/Braider/Weaver-Catrinna Johnson (Trinna)

“I’ve always wanted to do hair since about age 9.  That’s about when my dad bought my first pair of professional irons.  I was so excited to have them and not knowing how to use them I burned my bangs right off my head.”

A native of Lynchburg, VA., Trinna has been in the business of enhancing the natural beauty of her clients for over 17 years. After graduating from E.C. Glass High School, “Trinna” furthered her education through CVCC’s apprenticeship program, and thus becoming a certified stylist.

Over the past 17 years Trinna has mastered the art of “Caring and Styling Hair” for both men and women.  Her catalog of experience ranges from: cuts, colors, updo's and so much more. Her professional expertise includes braiding and weaving.  Trinna is now in the field of training and teaching others what she has learned over the past years.  She loves to explore the industry as a whole and understands the business of networking.  Her networking includes the fields of styling consultants, photographers, makeup artists, nail techs, physical trainers, music artists, educators, designers, models, and a host of other professionals and entrepreneurs.  She is dedicated to growing and continues advancing her education by attending shows and classes on a regular basis; to make sure she is updated on the latest information and trends.

This extraordinary stylist was the former salon manager and stylist for Pam’s Braidery for 11 years where she served faithfully. After years in the making Trinna has branched out; creating Ultra Beauty & Braids in 2007. In 2010 she took over Pam’s Braidery with her name Ultra Beauty and Braids and took the business to a whole new level especially in the advancements of cyber world. Trinna has dedicated her life to helping her customers feel beautiful inside and out.
